Book review: Instant Markdown
Maybe, the first question you have is, what the hell is Markdown? Probably you know what it is and you used it before, but you don't know yet. According to the creator, Markdown is "a text-to-HTML conversion tool for web writers. Markdown allows you to write using an easy-to-read, easy-to-write plain text format, then convert it to structurally valid XHTML (or HTML)". In other words, Markdown is the way you introduce descriptions, comments and other text information in a huge set of web applications, from GitHub to StackOverflow.
I'm sure a lot of people is thinking that this book is not for them or they are not using this tool, but I recommend you know this tool because it's one of those things that will be useful in the future, if you know it you will recognize where to use it when the problem appears.
Of course, the book is mainly focused on developers and I can say it's direct, clear and really easy to read. You could end it in just 1 hour. After that, you will have all the necessary knowledge to start working with Markdown, from the installation to the implementation in your own products.

Are you going to write your posts in english?
Actually this one is a post for a formal review of the book, so probably I will continue using spanish as the main language. But sometimes I would like to write the post in both languages in the future :-)
